Roasted Brussel Sprouts

This versatile side dish can accompany almost every meal. Whether it is alongside a piece of meat, shared with other veggies, or even paired with a warm salad – adding Brussels is a smart move, especially to potentially balance tyramine in the brain.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts


  • 1 lb brussel sprouts cut in half
  • 2 tbsp ghee grass-fed
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400

  2. Line a baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper. Add sprouts, ghee, salt and pepper. Evenly distribute before placing in oven.

  3. Roast for 35-40 minutes. Stir every 10-15 to make sure sprouts are browned throughout.

  4. Add additional salt and pepper and serve warm.
